Tessar Lo
Tessar is a graduate of Sheridan Institute's first BAA illustration class.
Born in Indonesia and raised in Scarborough, Canada, he has been, and always will be drawing and painting. His influences include: haruki murakami, gauguin, Japanese ukiyo-e printers, yoshitomo nara, 'lowbrow' art, lots of music and traditional southeast asian motifs.
Tessar's goal is to invoke feelings around the themes of memory, growth/change, perception and time; he is intrigued by hidden character and the appreciation of beauty over time. He believes these are the things that withstand ageing because they need it to become their best.

I am 6 foot 6, need reading glasses now, have two kids and a loving wife, coach baseball, live in the mountains, don't like squash of any kind (except the game), feel like a computer nerd, think I'm an athlete, stumble over my words, quit drinking a long time ago, feed both my great dane and chihuahua every day, watch TV but not commercials (TIVO baby!), don't recycle enough, can't sleep occasionally, rock out, drink coffee, and... oh yeah, draw pictures for a living!

Mark Kaufman
I cover the waterfront.
Well, not really, but I do cover politics, news, crime and punishment, current events, corruption, hypocrisy, lowbrow culture and controversy, with some distasteful caricature thrown in. This laundry list of the seedier side of life can mean only one thing: I am an editorial illustrator.
I'm on the board of AIGA Seattle, where I serve as the Illustration Community Director. I'm also a member of of Graphic Artists Guild and the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce. What can I say? I like to think I'm a lone wolf, but late in life I've become a joiner.

Leanne Franson
Born in Saskatchewan, Leanne talked, read and drew her way through school, ending up in Fine Arts in Concordia University, Montreal. After discovering that a BFA in drawing on walls and making 11 foot unfired clay sculptures would only earn her minimum wage selling coffee or pencils, she looked for an outlet for her talents. Fortunately a local illustrator took her under wing, and she has been happily enjoying the rollercoaster of being a freelance children's illustrator ever since.

Lisa Romero
Lisa is a product of her obsessions: cheesy eighties movies and garage sales. Her art is all done by hand using water based paints. Acrylics, airbrush paint, inks and wax - a bit of everything on vintage papers, found wood, or metal

Q Cassetti
I have found a voice and a visual life in illustration that well over two decades graphic design practice has never given me. Suddenly, all the pieces of the puzzle are coming together in this new space of pictures, color and techniques I never thought I could achieve. I am, finally, letting my 'freak flag fly'!
